CURRENT PROJECTS
Starting in January 2024, I launched 121 Digital Services Limited; An easy alternative to “DIY” website builders and website design agencies, for small to medium sized businesses. Our platform scales across Microsoft Azure and utilises open source containerisation technology to deliver a secure, high speed service to our customers.

EDUCATION & ACHIVEMENTS
I started to write code at the age of 10 by developing mods for Minecraft. Through various projects, I began making websites and quickly learned PHP, MYSQL, Node.JS and Typescript.
Education
I studied computer science at Nottingham Trent University for 2 years, before ultimately deciding to drop out and run my web hosting business full time. This business went on to server thousands of websites on our bespoke platform written in Node.JS and Python.
Sporting Achivements
From the age of 16 to 21, I competed internationally in the sport of Canoe Slalom, representing my fathers home country of Ireland. Through this, I had the privilege of travelling the world and immersing myself in a variety of cultures.
React Native UX
I am an experienced React / React Native developer, with an eye for detail. Having built and deployed countless apps and working closely with UX designers who require a holistic detailed approach to the development process.

WORDPRESS PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT
I have built a number of systems on top of WordPress. My startup company, 121 Digital, runs a highly customised version of wordpress that heavily integrates with our website design platform. That being said, I have also developed a number of applications using WordPress as a backbone. I strongly believe that it is a viable option for small applications with extended functionality revolving around a frontend website.
CLOUD DEPLOYMENT & OPERATIONS
Having served as a full stack developer on a number of projects, I have either worked on or overseen deployments to almost every variant of cloud provider or hypervisor. Most recently, I designed and deployed a complex Kubernetes cluster to Microsoft Azure, to contain the core API service for 121 Digital. Additionally oversaw the deployment of multiple cPanel servers.
Microsoft Azure
Recently, I deployed 121 Digital’s infrastructure on top of Microsoft Azure. We chose Azure for a number of reasons, but it mostly boiled down to availability zones, directory integration with our existing Microsoft 365 user groups and ease of use.
Currently, we are running 4 cPanel servers, 3 Kubernetes / Docker clusters to host our core application and a few other business related services.
Amazon AWS
Recently, I deployed 121 Digital’s infrastructure on top of Microsoft Azure. We chose Azure for a number of reasons, but it mostly boiled down to availability zones, directory integration with our existing Microsoft 365 user groups and ease of use.
Currently, we are running 4 cPanel servers, 3 Kubernetes / Docker clusters to host our core application and a few other business related services.
Vmware vSphere
While developing the infrastructure to house my first business, I oversaw the deployment of a large vmWare vSphere cluster, on top of vmWare ESXI.
We utilised vmware vSAN for hyper-converged storage and implemented software defined networking (SDN) to deliver isolated virtual environments to our customers.
Later down the line, we opened a second availability zone that had capacity to failover from replicated backups.
